Williams (trustee) from James Twiford co. -8.5"x 4.5", Cream colored paper -Flag and rope 1896, circa (undated*)—School Board Meeting Minutes -10"x 8", Cream colored paper; Pencil -Trustees: Bailey, McCauley, Williams -Of Interest: "The teacher is empowered to punish any unruly child by whipping…" -*Undated, but likely to be from 1896, Feb 1. Guenther research found that all three men were residing in the Clancy area from about 1895-1899. However, Trustee Charles L. McCauley lost his seat on the board when he ran for re-election in April 1896. Additionally, AM Williams left Clancy in August 1899, and it appears Geo. A. Bailey left Clancy around the same time.
