By 1951/52 the name Ginny had caught on with retailers and the public and the Ginny doll was officially born as Vogue began calling all models of this 8" darling by that name. This Ginny doll comes with eleven outfits and accessories.

    Large doll with long, curly blonde hair. It has hard plastic legs, arms, and head, with a cloth body wearing a blue and white dress, black shoes, and white socks. The doll is 19" tall and can sit. It has blue eyes that close and a light blue ribbon on the dress. On the back of her neck is embossed: Lissi Doll 126.

Donna Paul made many handmade clothes for the doll. In addition there are an assortment of purchased and hand made Mandy doll clothes.

George Lerner would often take potatoes from his mother's garden and, using various fruits and vegetables as facial features, he would make dolls for his younger sisters to play with.
