    A 1936 Hamley saddle was made for Karl William Kyler, who was born on March 30, 1907, in Gregory, Montana, and passed away on October 11, 1981, in Clancy, Montana. Karl was a rancher in the Boulder Valley and later owned and operated a bar and bowling alley in Boulder, Montana. When Karl was about 29 years old, he contacted the Hamley & Co.
